“Showa 20, August 6, morning

A single bomb detonated above a city where regular civilians lived in peace. It killed 140,000 cherished lives in a single moment, turning the city into a hellscape. There I was, living in the center of this city, Hiroshima. I was nine years old.

All four members of my family miraculously survived the bomb, but we later suffered radiation sickness, and we were all afflicted with cancer.

The atomic bomb not only took many lives, but it also irreversibly damaged the spirits of the tens of thousands of survivors it left in its wake who were met with an unquantifiable hell and are forced to live through tragedy after tragedy, even to this day.

Some believe that “nuclear weapons are what preserve international harmony.”
To them, I offer the following counterargument:
“Nuclear weapons and humanity cannot coexist.”
Nuclear weapons are an absolute evil!!
